Diego Jimenez Vines was born in Madrid in 1974. In 1996 he founded and directed the company since study-smart.com illustration, from the beginning to work intensively with the most prestigious advertising agencies (McCann Erickson, Publicis, Tapsa ...) creating all kinds of illustrations and storyboards for their best customers (Coke, ONCE, Opel ...). His works are published in media campaigns, billboards and are the basis for popular TV spots. His illustrations also appear in magazines, occasionally covers, as in "History of Iberia Vieja" In 1999 a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with the specialty of Image Arts. Distinction gets five and three of her works are required to be part of the permanent collection of "Cabinet of Drawings".

Its main line of work is based on concern for the human spirit, for his inner self. Beings are exposed as they are. No tricks. No matter if your nature is beautiful, anatomically distorted, disturbing, weak or powerful. Under his gaze sometimes perfectionist, ironic, caustic or melancholy, but always genuine and openly honest, his paintings take us to the profound world of reality discovered by the sensitivity of still young but mature author.
